You choose the start date when you register. You can select “as soon as possible” or a future date (e.g., your move-in date). We’ll send you a confirmation once the contract is active.
Does it cost anything to switch to Viddakraft?
No, switching electricity providers is completely free. You only pay for the electricity you use.
When should I report a move?
You should report your move at least three days in advance. If you’ve already moved, let us know as soon as possible. Otherwise, you may still be responsible for the meter and electricity bill.
Where can I find my meter number?
You’ll find the meter number on the physical electricity meter. It’s usually a 16-digit number located next to the barcode. Here you can find more tips.

Why isn’t the electricity subsidy included in my invoice?
The subsidy is given through the grid fee, not the electricity invoice. You’ll see it on the invoice from your local grid company.
What happens if I don’t pay my invoice on time?
We’ll first send you a reminder. If it’s still unpaid, the case may go to debt collection. Contact us early and we’ll find a solution.

What happens if I paid too much?
Any overpaid amount will automatically be credited to your next invoice.
What electricity agreements do you offer?
All our agreements are based on the spot price from the Nord Pool power exchange.
What is Nord Pool?
Nord Pool is the power exchange where electricity is bought and sold. Prices are set hourly based on supply and demand.
What is a spot price, and how does a spot price agreement work?
Spot prices change hourly. You pay for the electricity you use each hour multiplied by that hour’s price from Nord Pool. You can track the spot price directly in the Viddakraft app.
Do you have a fixed monthly fee or other charges?
Yes, most of our agreements include a small fixed fee and a surcharge per kWh. Everything is clearly stated in the terms.
How do I know which agreement I have?
You’ll find all agreement details in our app or on “Min Side.”
What’s the difference between the electricity price and the grid fee?
The electricity price is what you pay to Viddakraft for the electricity itself. The grid fee is what you pay your local grid company to deliver the electricity to your home.
How do I contact customer service?
You can use the contact form on our website, send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or call us at +47 22 60 00 70.

Yes, the app is free and gives you full control over your usage, prices, and invoices. Available for iOS and Android.

Yes, you can switch to another agreement with us at any time, free of charge.
Can I use the app without BankID?
Yes, once you’re registered, you can log into the app using a one-time code sent to your mobile or email.
Will I lose power when I switch providers?
No, you won’t lose power. The switch is purely administrative and the electricity continues to flow as before.
Who do I contact if there’s a power outage?
You should contact your local grid company (nettselskap), not us. They are responsible for the physical electricity network.
What is the grid fee, and who do I pay it to?
The grid fee is paid to the grid company for delivering electricity to your home. It’s billed separately from your Viddakraft invoice.
Do I need to read my electricity meter manually?
No, most customers have an AMS smart meter that automatically sends consumption data. We’ll contact you if anything is missing.
What does timespot mean, and how does it affect me?
Timespot means the electricity price changes hourly. You can save money by using electricity when the price is lowest.
What do I do if electricity is activated at the wrong address?
Contact us immediately and we’ll correct it together with the grid company.
What is an AMS meter?
